Teacher Background: Welcome to my web page. My
name is Barbara Chavez and I am a Math teacher at Aliso Niguel
High School. This is my 19th year of teaching. I am currently
teaching Algebra 1A and Algebra 2A with Geometry.

I try to answer all e-mails on the same day I receive them.
How to Succeed in Math Class:
Students need to do all homework and study for the tests in order to do
well in math class. Parents may check to see if homework is done by
looking at their child's "homework sheet"--all completed work will
be stamped. Students also need to take good notes in math class; points
are given on the homework sheet for in-class notes. Lists of tutors are
available on request. I recommend reviewing practice tests and making
flash cards for memorizing formulas prior to test day.
